From 1/9/2022 onwards, taxation of winnings in opaponline.gr lottery games is applied as follows*: 

a) winnings up to €100: tax free
b) winnings from €100,01 to €200: 2,5% tax (on the amount exceeding €100)
c) winnings from €200,01 to €500: 5% tax (on the amount exceeding €200)
d) winnings from €500,01 to €2.500: 10% tax (on the amount exceeding €500)
e) winnings from €2500,01 and above: 20% tax (on the amount exceeding €2.500)

* After subtracting the cost of participation.

Winnings certificate is issued upon request until 31/10 of each year. The submission process can be completed electronically via https://winningscertificates.opap.gr/ (concerning previous year’s winnings).

Players who have submitted an electronic request will be informed by OPAP S.A. via email and phone about the status of their request and required actions.
